So my avast! anti virus trial has ended, i was wondering what the best way is to go now? My old antivirus doesent work with windows 7, so i have to use something else untill i can pay for a new one. What should i use?
Register to get a new license its free. Unless your using pro.
But what am i missing out on by registering for free, is the stuff that it doesent protect useless?
Was your trial for pro or home edition?
Im not sure, i cant remember lol. I just registered for the free version then. It said only antivirus and antispyware or whatever protection and the spam and something else was unchecked.
Are you running on the old Avast! (blue tray icon) or the newer version (orange tray icon)?
The newer one.
Just re-register it, you don't lose anything.
