Well that didn't take long.
I've owned Minecraft for ages, and yet even I am still tempted to buy this. Why? SPLIT SCREEN. Fucking amazing development choice, I'm sure that's improving sales a ton.
And none of this money is gonna be used to develop Minecraft faster or better either.
I bought it, and really, it's not that bad. Same game when it was in Beta 1.6 and my little brother likes it because on his older computer it lags to balls while on the Xbox there is of course no lag. The bad thing is that there are no infinite worlds on the Xbox, yet.
The map is big enough for 2-4 people to play and still feel overwhelmed. The split screen mechanic they use is amazing because of the ability to jump in and out of game.
Wouldn't have expected any less.

I expect that once they put the finishing touches on the mod API, nobody will care any more about what Mojang does with the game. :v:

People used to love it because Notch came out with a new update every week, adding useful features and fun stuff
Then he started updating slower, taking more and more vacations, making updates that added almost nothing. And then he rushed out an ending, shoved the game onto Jeb and stopped working on it entirely

Don't turn this into a Notch hatefest.
Well the version plays so smooth, I really like it. Although the newer updates are not really included. Might buy it sometime only for the decent fps and splitscreen.
