I think buying the sports games yearly is kind of dumb but I skipped 2k12 after buying 2k11 so I might buy this.
Or I might skip another year and just buy 2k14 (as long as they keep releasing PC versions)
Sports games are proof of evolution.
Slow, gradual change over several generations creates a better product.
For me I buy sports games every 5 or so years and am blown away by new ones.
Wait 5 years, blown away again, etc...
Who would buy a special edition of a sports game? I understand if its a ten year anniversary or something but a special edition for the yearly edition is just stupid. But this does look kind of cool.
Awesome! now i can fix my own finals games making sure the heat win at home rather than watching it on tv! thanks nba!

That's what happens when the league cares more about ratings than the actual game.

Why would you buy a special edition of any game? Because it has fun stuff in it that you like.

See: 2002 Western Conference finals
Anyone else think them including an actual basketball is a passive aggressive way of telling you to go outside?

The 2012 finals ain't nothin compared to 2002.
Those were just blatant obvious cheating. Compared to 2002, this year's unfair calls were pretty minimal at most.
