I haven't been keeping up with the Megaman series, but have they ever tried a shooter like the Prime games for the Metroid series? I think if done right it could be a really good game.
I liked what they did with Mega Man 9 and 10, but that's really the last good turn the series has had within the last ten years.
They can go fuck themselves after that whole Megaman Legends 3 thing. It would need dashing, wall jumping, charge weapons, etc., I think there was a Q3 mod like that.
I swear if X9 is just another hurp-durp nostalgia styled milk run I'm going to lol.
I've just got to wonder how hard it is for a big game studio to make a good 2D Megaman game like we used to get. Just make a classic Mega Man game with modern-day graphics. Be Rozenkruezstillette without the anime titties and gothic architecture. Not like XOver where you're X in a fur coat and all you can do is jump or shoot when you need to and you can buy all the powerups in a DLC shop.
I can't really believe a single word they say. Especially after all the shit they've done in the past 2 years.
