Sorry i couldent make the title discriptive. So anyways today me and my buds where out playing soccer in my yard when a adult orange tabby walked across our fence, we petted it and it seemed welll trained. My mom seen and ran outside and picked it up, she fed it then handed it over to the crazy cat lady across the street, i fear somebody owned that cat, should i go tell the lady or let it go?
Someone probably did own that cat. Why would your mom do something like that? "oh no a cat outside, it must be a stray. i should give it to the crazy cat lady"

Then the cat has a new home. If you see lost cat posters, then go ask the "crazy cat lady" if she wouldn't mind helping you take it back to its owner.
If you go into the crazy cat lady's house, you will not leave in one piece. And you will smell like cat piss.

usually these type of people don't take very good care of the animals they hoard because it costs a lot of money for food, litter, etc.
OP you should get that cat back, maybe a few others if this is the situation.
