Okay, so on another forum I made a thread about a Saw-story and I've posted parts of it and I can't think of a good trap idea for my character, Greg. A brief description of the character is that he planned a bank robbery with others and killed 3 officers and got away with it. Now for Greg's starter trap, what should it be? Post your ideas for a good beginning trap for him to go through.

Have a laser beam slowly cut up his leg unless he cuts off the leg with a nail.
A casket with nails on the outside they get pushed in from the bottom up slowly with a stake at the top. He has to free his hands from TIGHT handcuffs at his side to undo a latch at the top.

How about some sort of series of chambers much like my nail idea but with acid or something. Or maybe he was a magician and the it's like one of those boxes.

Well with some brainstorming I came up with the idea of the steaming-pipe ladder. The character Greg part of the main game wakes up cuffed to a pipe and is instructed to hop from pipe to pipe with his hands but quickly or else they'll burn too hot on his hands and he'll fall into the huge underground of acid. He manages to survive but his hand ends up being badly burnt. I didn't think anyone would reply to this thread but with the other trap ideas I've been getting I'll try and find ways to incorporate them into the other parts of the story involving traps.
That is a good one, you could also do one where he has to climb through a stack of needles to find a piece of hay.
well how about this hes has a neck brace with knives around it and to get out he has to walk down stairs but random ones are electrical and each time he steps on one the neck brace gets tighter and if he steps on to many it slits his throat not very good but meh also when u finish id like to read it

Jigsaw after capturing our victim has acquired some of gregs objects. He'll give a small speech about how he let money control him, and then present him with four of his most personal possessions, something not bought with the money he stole. He'll now be forced to destroy all of them, as some of the objects he did buy with the money are embedded into his skin (a watch, ring, sun-glasses, etc).
Air-tight glass box, burning leaves inside. Combines suffocation, flames, and smoke inhalation, along with claustrophobia. Add spiders for bonus points.

He has to shoot himself with a gun - only problem is, no bullets.
He has to unlock a safe - only problem is, the door is already open.
He has to withdraw $19.99 from an ATM machine - only problem is, the ATM is for a different bank.
