Whenever I am in a game for over 5-10 minutes, my pc just stops dead in its tracks. The monitor just goes black (or another colour such as pink or blue) and the power led on it turns from blue to orange. My casefans just keep running and the only solution is a manual reboot. The GPU is usually ~55C-ish on load and ~40C not on load. Specs: 4GB Kingston HyperX RAM Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 @ stock (2.33ghz) Point of View GTX285 MSI P42N Mainboard (not sure got to check) 750Watt Corsair PSU 6-ish fans Even with my GPU fan @ 100% it still locks up and shit. Any thoughts/experiences/solutions with/for this problem?

It didn't really help, I've been crashing less often though.
How long ago did you get the 285?

Huh, weird. Does the gpu fan stop when your monitor goes black?
Lucky bastard with your GTX 285. Check all of your power supply connections to the GPU and basically all around the computer. if they feel loose, take it out and put it back in. Check the VGA/DVI connection, take it out and put it back in. If problem persists, then check RAM for bad sticks.
Hm, this happened to me a few times the first day or two after I get my 285. It just seemed to stop on it's own after a few days. I have the drivers that came with the disk.
