Im looking for a website that sells laptops at a decent price but takes payments. I looked at dell but i was really hoping to get a laptop with a video card. needs to be around $400-$600 but if you have any ideas dont hesitate to post.
You will not find a "gaming laptop" for less than $1000-1200. And even then, it's going to be outdated in a year. Just buy a $600 desktop, it'll be twice as good as a $600 laptop.

I got my laptop for $750 and let me list the specs: - Core 2 Duo (2.0GHz) - 4GB RAM - 9600GS It can run Crysis on Medium with a couple of options on high with little to no lag.
the only setting that actually matters is shaders
I got a Dell Inspiron 1545, plays TF2 on medium-high at about 20FPS and HL2EP2 at the same. You might say "Well that's not a lot" - it was only $350. For a laptop with that price that's not bad.
Buy a netbook and a desktop.

I didn't think they were able to do TF2 that well. :v:

I already have a desktop. I need a Laptop. that is why I was asking for a laptop. Im not talking about XPS or alien ware gaming. Im talking about 2+Gigs of memory and a video card. sunch as this. But on payments.

Your spelling and grammar are abysmal. Anyway, if you're dead-set on doing this, check out www.toshiba.com, www.hp.com, and look at some of Dell's stuff again. I'm sure you can find something reasonably priced between them.
Wow, I got mine at Wal-Mart. It has a GMA X4500HD too :v:
Got mine at Best Buy. Dell.com sells them for $600-650. No idea how you got yours for $350. [editline]09:34PM[/editline] Oh, they have a model for $380. It has a 2.2ghz Celeron, 2gb RAM, 160gb HDD, and a 4 cell battery. I got the one with a 2.0ghz Core 2, 4gb RAM, 320gb, and 6 cell :/
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16834115571 It's $600 (On sale from $700) and here are the specs: - Core 2 Duo (2.2GHz) - 4GB DDR2 RAM - 9500M GS - 16" Screen

I have a 15.6" laptop which is not fun at all to lug around. A 16" screen sounds nice until you have to carry it around with you. [editline]09:41PM[/editline] Especially if you have to carry books too. Better have a humongous bag.

I've got a 12" that I haul around my college campus and even that gets heavy after a few hours.
This is definitely true. I've got a 12" that I haul around my college campus and even that gets heavy after a few hours.
Yeah, I started taking my Eee PC to school. :v:
Christ, hopefully the OP is more of a man than you two. Just get a bag with a strap on it, sling it over your shoulder, and forget about it.

Probably also pulls you along in a little red wagon wherever you need to go.

I have a freaking online math class. and I dont want to drive all the way home to do some of my work. when I have to go back 4 hours later.
Lemme guess, your mom carries everything for you, right? Probably also pulls you along in a little red wagon wherever you need to go.
My mom does this
Lemme guess, your mom carries everything for you, right? Probably also pulls you along in a little red wagon wherever you need to go.
wow your a really helpful member.
School: something very durable and portable and boots quickly. Preferably something cheap incase it gets broken. KEEP ON YOUR PERSON OR ELSE IT MAY GO "MISSING"!!! Gaming: something really nice, doesn't have to be all that portable (unless you go cross-country gaming), probably super-expensive. Preferably the parts can be replaced and upgraded.
wow your a really helpful member.
I have a lot of faith in your writing abilities, you definitely want to not take the time writing things down and improving your grammar, nor do you want to even consider approaching people with a tad bit more maturity. (wink)
Lemme guess, your mom carries everything for you, right? Probably also pulls you along in a little red wagon wherever you need to go.
Yep. She also wipes my ass for me when I'm done taking a shit. She's the best [editline]11:46PM[/editline]
One strap bags are even worse. Of course you would have to find a large one.

I don't know about the store part. My last desktop was refurbished and was excellent, I know you're looking for a laptop and they got them on ebay http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?Condition=Refurbished&LH_Price=0..600@c&LH_BIN=1&LH_IncludeSIF=1&_nkw=refurbished%20laptop&_dmpt=Laptops_Nov05&_fln=1&_mPrRngCbx=1&_trksid=p3286.c0.m283 On the left, it has options to specify what you want, it has processor, RAM, and hard drive, and some other stuff. I already typed in the 600$ cap. (Also your post I quoted was win lol) Unsure about the honesty of a seller? When you click on the product it goes to the seller's item sell page and you can check his reviews to see if previous buyers said anything bad. For transporting it, get a back-pack with the laptop pocket. I have one and I've fallen off my bike several times with my laptop in there and it did just fine.

If you pay attention in school, why would you need a laptop for gaming when you could just wait until you get home? And yes Donut is badass
If you pay attention in school, why would you need a laptop for gaming when you could just wait until you get home? And yes Donut is badass
:O I'm hon-err I mean yes I am quite sure this Donut character will be pleased to hear that. <.< >.> Also, the world is changing, portability is pwnage, having a laptop that allows him to leave the house to play video games would be a good thing. I have a laptop and a desktop, I use my desktop because I can leave the house, get some fresh air and chill out on a bench at the local University and play tf2 with the university's wi fi.
