Well, as long as we're awkwardly bringing up past roles, the Joker is being voiced by the leader of the Saints.
I guess the casting isn't bad, but I'd love to hear some samples.
Also another Arkham game with Joker? I hope he isn't given as much space as in AC. I was really looking forward to Hugo Strange being the main baddie in that and look how that turned out. I love Joker but I'd love to see someone else to be the focus. Origins is apparently about a Christmas Eve where Batman faces 8-7 bad guys? I hope it won't turn out Joker was behind it all.
Maybe I'm just wanting something different and we will get amazing story regardless.

Black Mask is supposed to be the main bad guy from what I've read, and people like Deathstroke and the others are assassins he hires to take out Batman. The idea is that, by the end of it it'll show how Batman's rise and handling of crime in Gotham eventually led to the creation of Joker and others by proxy.

I'm actually more interested in hearing Troy Baker's portrayal of the Joker than hearing Roger Craig Smith's Batman, because there's no way in hell Troy's going to be able to do anything close to "Vincent" aka his norm.
Conroy probably plays as batman's father if its origins if he's not playing batman.. This batman will have to sound younger because its supposed to be when he basically first started out.

The only reason I'm okay with it is because he can actually use his voice instead of playing the same voice for every fucking character.

Are you sure Joker will appear near the end? In the picture he seems pretty comfy like had some experience behind him. Truth be told, Joker transformation is pretty quick in the comics, too. I'm just wondering if we should get ready for the Arkham City treatment where the ads gave the impression Hugo Strange would give Batman hard time and then we meet him twice throughout the game.

Like I said, Year One. There were actually quite a few mentions of the mobs in Gotham and them moving to Bludhaven in Arkham City.
