I suppose you have HTC G1? I have it myself and i use HTCCLAY's SuperBad 1.5.1(2.1 rom, no sense) and it's blazing fast. Take that Nexus One :D
DamageControl on my HTC Hero CDMA. Fast as fuck.

I have a Hero (UK, not the weird Sprint one), is it worth Rooting it? Can it be "bricked"?
I have a Hero (UK, not the weird Sprint one), is it worth Rooting it? Can it be "bricked"?
In the three or so hours since I've rooted my Droid, I've found that it's not all that amazing. I only did it so I could safely install Android 2.2. Tell you the truth, I'm not really sure what the full benefits of it are.
Well, quite frankly, I would love to have Android 2.2, I'm stuck on 1.5.
Do we have an android app forum yet? If so could someone post the link. I got a HTC hero the other day and want to get some decent apps.
Well, quite frankly, I would love to have Android 2.2, I'm stuck on 1.5.
Then it may be worth it. There's a guide to the whole Froyo update here, but I'm not sure whether it's exclusive the Droid(the guide is, but there may be another version out there) or even 2.0/2.1 systems, for that matter.
Right, thanks a lot :).
Sorry to sound stupid, but what is a Android ROM?
Sorry to sound stupid, but what is a Android ROM?
A ROM of the Android operating system, to boot into different variants of it from the base design. Somewhat like a Linux distro. Same base OS structure, different execution.
I'm running BuglessBeast.
Tell you the truth, I'm not really sure what the full benefits of it are.
Same, for my G1 all the rotting did for me was install a custom ROM, and I overclocked and did the RAM hack
[stupid]Any possible way to get Android 2.2 on Xperia X10i? [/stupid]

I would like to see Android on PSP.
Using Cyanogen 5.0.7 on my nexus one. Just waiting until it gets flash from the 2.2 update.
2.0 on Milestone. Cba to upgrade and I'll wait for a rooted 2.2
2.0 on Milestone. Cba to upgrade and I'll wait for a rooted 2.2
The droid has been rooted. Milestone and Droid are the same phone, just different names and the Milestone is GSM
HTC Hero - VanillaROM 6.2.1 not JIT'd & OC'd to 710MHz.
Droid, Android 2.2 FRF57 with C_01.41.00R baseband.

Running my UK Hero on a rooted 2.1 Taiwan release. All good, besides Superuser requests crashing out, and having to use the bizarre English input for China interface.
Running SuperE on my G1, very fast for a 2.1 ROM.
I'm still on 1.6 until I get my SD card.
Any ROM sites for X10i available?
Anyone know of any T-Mobile G2 2.1/2.2 Roms? I kinda sick and tired of using 1.5 now.
The droid has been rooted. Milestone and Droid are the same phone, just different names and the Milestone is GSM
Some differences in the Milestone make it incompatbile. There's currently no custom ROMs for the Milestone, but as far as I know, there are for the Droid. And when the Droid got rooted, it took quite some time for that to be done on a Milestone as well.
