I find that hard to believe since your average drone weighs considerably less than a bird but then the metal and carbon fiber parts might just be tougher than a full bird carcas and might ingress into the turbine easier

Guess they figure they are going to throw a few fan blades which will destroy an engine, this sim doesn't even cover the compressor
