I've got just enough money to purchase this but I'm on the fence, should I get it or wait for an inevitable sale?
OH BOY THOSE SERBIAN'S GON BE HAPPY
Where are the hats?
wait, its great but imo its almost like a tech demo
wait, its great but imo its almost like a tech demo
More like a concept demo/portfolio piece. The game doesn't show off new tech, just a very pleasant use of the Source engine, though I imagine the 60fps it sustains (on a mid-range PC) would fall apart as soon as you put some AI processes and physics in there.

It's like a whole new game!

A runthrough if you take your time is something like 90-120 minutes. The game has some dynamic language to it. So one playthrough will show different dialogue or slightly different scenes each time, but not drastically so. I did a playthrough separated by chapter with the highest quality you will find and no commentary. This is how the typical game will playout.
