YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME
There are no words for how much I hate that TOR got made over this
I still hope that Obsidian, after finishing up with South Park and Project Eternity, will try to negotiate with EA/Disney about making KotOR 3. Also I dream about KotOR 3 retconning all that bullshit from TOR (also from that Revan book too, but that won't happen).
i hate those "would have" kind of news. They are pretty pointless

Hasn't Bioware been planning a Star Wars RPG after Lucasart got put down ?
i still dont get it what revan and malak saw that made them turn to the dark side they went somewhere found out about the star forge and then became sith lords i dont understand
i still dont get it what revan and malak saw that made them turn to the dark side they went somewhere found out about the star forge and then became sith lords i dont understand
The Sith Emperor broke their minds and made them go back and destroy the Republic but Revan was strong enough to keep a grasp of knowledge that he needed to destroy the True Sith and so fought the Republic in a way that would preserve most of the infrastructure so they could quickly prepare for the real war.
thanks it was boggling me all the time i was playing both games and im shit at deducting information

When playing the second one I couldn't really focus on the story due to how rushed the game was (And especially the ending. Wow.)
Was that mentioned in KOTOR I ? When playing the second one I couldn't really focus on the story due to how rushed the game was (And especially the ending. Wow.)
You couldnt focus on the story in a 20 hour story driven game? Wat
You couldnt focus on the story in a 20 hour story driven game? Wat
To be honest I'm playing Kotor 2 right now for the first time, and I gotta say the story is a little harder to follow than the first.
To be honest I'm playing Kotor 2 right now for the first time, and I gotta say the story is a little harder to follow than the first.
Not to mention all the questions that are asked during the whole game and were likely to be answered at the very end... Aren't due to how underwhelming the end is. It just stays a big mess with a whole bunch of unexplained stuff.
I can't even imagine how you're having a hard time gathering the info from either game i mean it's not like it was some convoluted plot, it was very clearly spelled out that Revan had his own motivations while fighting his battles that didn't spell out "omg im gonna wipe out the republic" it's the reason he's really one of my favorite star wars characters
It's ok guys, instead of having a silly, fuddy duddy, singleplayer experience we got a whole MMO instead. And boy is it successful and amazi- oh.
I dunno why everyone whines about TOR i mean aside from the whole Revan thing it was really awesome, sure it wasn't SWG but if you expected that then you deserve dissapointment
sure it wasn't SWG but if you expected that then you deserve dissapointment
I'm not sure what what

I wish they didn't shutdown SWG, even under its new combat system it was way better then swtor.
I'm not sure what what
It very obviously wasn't going to be SWG and it never claimed to be anything like it, and anyone who thought it would be had a very VERY wrong idea
It very obviously wasn't going to be SWG and it never claimed to be anything like it, and anyone who thought it would be had a very VERY wrong idea
I dunno, from what I remember they disabled SWG's servers shortly before the release of TOR, and it was heavily implied that people seeking to resume their online SW experience had to play TOR.
It very obviously wasn't going to be SWG and it never claimed to be anything like it, and anyone who thought it would be had a very VERY wrong idea
But wasn't SWG shit? What the hell am I missing here
This makes me sad.
This sincerely burns me soul when I see this. Though is curiosity would you have played as Revan and friends who had gone with him or would you make your own character and join up with him?
But wasn't SWG shit? What the hell am I missing here
SWG was arguably the best MMO around for a VERY long time until NGE came around Bounty Hunters were awesome but making Jedi a starting class ruined the whole game basically, not to mention all the little tweaks that broke it. i remember the sick free aim system :(
I like how Kreia set the true sith up as this ancient, unknowable, incredible force and then TOR just made them a cartoon pastiche of the KOTOR 1 empire and the movie empire.
Rate me optimistic, but I hope these articles are being published to try show the support is still here for the franchise, in terms of fans. Who actually has the rights to the IP?
