A New Beginning just reminded me how much I prefer Rune Factory to Harvest Moon. 10 hours of tutorials and somehow subpar performance despite incredibly basic graphics... yeah no.

The new Rune factory is pretty awesome.
So Japanese that it induces mild illness, but addicting as hell.

Rune Factory is always awesome. At some point you stop caring about the hilariously cliche Japanese-anime-stereotypes.

i have rune factory frontier on the wii, is 4 for 3ds better? i liked frontier at first but then got bored pretty quickly
though idk if i have time for a sim game other than AC

frontier kind of sucks in my opinion, the runey system was dreadful. 4 is indeed wayyy better. it's also a nice complement to AC because, obviously, it runs at your own pace rather than on a real-time clock. plus it's kind of got the opposite problem of AC in that there are just way too many things to do in a day.
