the next friday the 13th is in October, which is halloween month!
They probably should have waited until this October. More sales because it's the scary month plus more time to game test and fix bugs.

They didn't plan to add SP until the game was pretty much done, it was never a main part of the game and was lumped in by popular demand.

it was a kickstarted game, they've been promising "early 2017" to their backers for months now. some of them are even upset that may isn't "early" enough

I'm aware it has been hit with delays (but as far as I know that came with content expansion, like the SP). How does that change the possibility that they're running out of some of that sweet kickstarter cash and need to release to keep the development going?
