This update turned out to be worse than I thought. Not the F2P bit, I'm cool with it, but the content itself.
That also means that all online games will be 10 times as [I]un[/I]fun thanks to the almost sure to be massive influx of 6 year olds whos mommies wouldn't buy it for them before.

I was planning on getting back into TF2 this summer because I finished my last final today. Looks like I'm going to continue playing DoD.
I also want my money back that I spent in 2008 on TF2.

What's different is that there are 'Free' and 'Premium' accounts. Everyone who bought the game prior the update is entitled to the 'Premium' account.

But you could read the FAQ which says that they have complete access to the entire game except for some crafting or trading crap.
