So I recently cleaned out on of my grandmas cupboards and she let me keep this little ornament thing. It is a silver sphere with 4 legs that end in lion-like feet. The top of the sphere slides round to open it.

Anyone know if it is silver or worth anything?
Maybe a sugar holder? It'll probably be difficult to track down an exact manufacturer/design unless you talk to an expert, there are so many silver doodads out there.
Hmmm, you could be right there. The rust on the inside is very green as you can see in the second image, can anyone identify what metal rusts like that?

It's probably a sweets holder. Usually holds sugar cubes or other table foody things.
Maybe check out if it has any printings or some shit. Something that states some info.
And then use it for whatever. Could work for an ash tray?
It's Queen Victoria's sugar-lump holder. While I'm pretty sure it's authentic, I do want my buddy who's an expert in sugar containers to come down and take a look at it.
