Switch browsers.
Use Windows Internet Explorer. It works like a treat as compared to firefox and chrome. But only for this issue.
Any other fixes due to the badware reporting, please post them. I'm tired of this craphole of a browser.
Apparently turning off the setting in firefox fixes it, but it then means that actual attacking sites can cause you a risk. So its not all that great an idea.
Google chrome FTW.

People on chrome said there were problems too.

Well yeah, but only once.
[QUOTE=Greendead;26015507]Well yeah, but only once.[/QUOTE]
Ahh.. it works for Google Chrome for me :v:
So yes, for the win.
[editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
Right.. it doesn't work for me on Chrome anymore.
tools>options>security>disable attack site warnings
for firefox
[QUOTE=Nautsabes;26015607]tools>options>security>disable attack site warnings

Thanks. It works but then comes the consideration that true attack sites are not blocked any more. Any way to specifically add facepunch to not be reported?
I can't believe I'm using IE :smithicide:

Tools->Options->Security->Uncheck Block Reported Attack Sites

You are Da Man. :smile:
I like Chrome. In my opinion its the best browser but I can see why people like Opera or Firefox. I have used both but I prefer.
IE on the other hand is a wheelbarrow of shit. No idea why Microsoft would make such an outdated piece of software compared to other browsers.

However IE managed to bypass this problem with no settings requiring to change :psyduck:
[editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
I'm still using firefox. But I don't like the fact that I had to turn security off in order to make facepunch work.
You can change it in chrome too...
Im safe now?
Disabling the filters in Firefox is the same as using a fast IE8.

I didn't realise facepunch was much of a thread.

malware protection my ass, this thing goes off all the time on stupid non-malware things
I really don't care.
Facepunch is running like it usually does for me, and Chrome only has to tell me once about OMG FACEPUNCH.
Pretty much.
