Things you are cursed with - General

Shamelessly copied from the Escapist forums. What horrible things are you cursed with? As for me, I'm cursed with falling in love easily (like, REAL easily) which may not sound that bad (anyone who's ever been in love knows what it feels like). However, combine that with severe shyness, a disorder that affects social skills (most prominently interaction with people) and a peculiar habit of falling in love with girls that are already taken and it quickly turns into shit. So Facepunch, what are your curses?

I have panic attacks when I see spiders too close to me. Don't know about you but for me, it's a fucking curse since I live in the country-side ...

the constant fear that somethings waiting in the dark :gonk: and always thinking things through too much (i spent 10 minutes writing this but i typed about 2 words per second...)

I have no artistic ability whatsoever. It kills me, because... Well, I could go off on a tangent or just leave it at that. I'll do the second.

Partial OCD, mainly with computers. Like I have to put my mouse on the very edge of a youtube video whenever I'm watching one, so where it lines up the pixels.

Example above. Another example. I have a teacher, and it's a 2 1/2 hour long lecture. I knew he sounded like somebody, but couldn't remember the guy's name. Ended up being Norm Macdonald, but during the class I couldn't remember his name and I ended up not paying attention the whole time. I almost always come up with who somebody looks like, be it a celebrity or even just somebody I know. It's annoying.

I can't help in games that I waste ammo to get full clips all will deduct to zero mainly in HL2. I also worry a lot.

I get the PC technical problems that no one has ever gotten before, ever.

Im cursed with a rat that lives on my shoulder and chews on my ear for no reason, but I love the little pest.

Constantly returning ingrown toenails.

A shitty ass brain. -It's slow. -I'm boring. -It doesn't learn well. -It's memory is shit. -It goes nuts in social situations. -Personality isn't all that great. -I'm an odd person that doesn't fit in... anywhere (except the internet apparently).

Not being able to understand subtle meanings in a blink, for example when a girl asks me on a date in a subtle way I make up a silly excuse, then 20 minutes later I'm like "Wait, WHAT IS GODS NAME DID I JUST DO!?" And when I'm bored my creativity and energy level go overflowing. I actually shouted "I'M A FUCKING PIRATE!" through class when I got way to bored. And drawn the blackboard full of bananapirates in 10 minutes :smug: The above is also a blessing sometimes, during a traffic jam for example I get awesome thoughts that amuse me for hours. And feeling ill in driving cars :saddowns:

I am too anti-social. I cared more about ROCHELLE dying in l4d2 then my friend up the street who hung himself last week. God damnit. Computer illiterates. EVERYWHERE. I guess its kind of a mixed blessing since if there were none I'd be out of a job.

I come off as an asshole, but anyone who knows me well enough see that I only mean things in the kindest ways. I can't figure out why a lot of things are rude or offensive and I can't express my thoughts without people looking at them emotionally. Don't get me wrong, I love feelings and compassion. It's just that most the people I know connect emotion with logic a lot more than I ever would. I'm not anti-social...just fairly awkward. Also, I'm destined to always end up with the crazy chicks.

I am too smart. People hate me for it, it is the cause of most of my trouble. But it is also making my life amazingly easy, so it is kind of both a blessing and a curse.
