$10,000?
What the everliving fuck?
I can understand buying an expensive watch because that can last you a lifetime and the craftsmanship that goes into a top-of-the-line watch is extraordinary. I wouldn't get one but it makes sense.
But why the fuck would you spend $10,000 on an ugly watch that won't even work for a full day without being charged and will be obsolete in a year at best?

Because my daily income is ten times that.
Then get a $10,000 watch that isn't ugly, that lasts more than 18 hours, and won't be obsolete in a year.
Give it a year before Apple Watch 2.

If I can afford a new apple watch every day, I don't see how this is an issue. And ugly is subjective.

Why the fuck would you buy a 1300$ laptop that doesn't have a standard USB port?
