I'm calling onto Facepunch to help me with this long-awaited problem.
The following specs pertain to my current rig:

1TB HDD

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 SuperClocked 1GB
So here`s the situation, I have had this setup for the past 4 years.
It served me well, but not too long ago the PSU burnt out, so I am faced with a decision:
I can choose to replace everything but the HDD or simply buy a new PSU to my current system.
At the time of the purchase the rig cost a grand.
I found a great deal on tigerdirect for budget barebone kits. The only issue i have with it is the 450W power supply. But other than that, this deal looks too good to be true.
Ideally I'm looking for a very quiet quad core machine with at least 8GB of RAM.
PS: Should I wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday (that changes the whole situation)?
If you guys know anything better feel free to mention it
Thanks in advance!
That bundle's pretty medicore. Buy a new power supply, this time one that's not prone to exploding, and then when you can afford it get a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. The PSU will cost around 50-60 for a reputable brand of around 500W (you do not need more than this).
Fpr the CPU/Motherboard I suggest, depending on your budget, an i3 3220 or i5 3550 and a z75 motherboard. This will cost 200-300. Ram is another $20-40 for 4-8GB.

= $260 (free RAM with motherboard)
+ $10 shipping
-$20 rebate
= $250

No it doesn't, your current case will fit a Micro-ATX board.
But if i decide to purchase a new psu am I not taking a risk with all of the other components?
Besides it's way too loud.
And what's wrong with the deal I found online?
Get it if you want to, I'm not going to argue with you. The power supply on it is most likely awful. I can't even find the specs on it, meaning they're hiding them for some reason. So you'd have to get a new power supply, bringing the total to $260 before rebate. You'd save $50 (after rebate), get a new case, and have an extra power supply at the expense of performance.
