I couldn't think of a name back in the old gmod days, so I left the name box blank in the options menu, it set my name to #empty.
It stuck, I added _shadow later on (in hindsight it's pretty lame) and I go by Empty nowadays. Sadly I can't change my forum name without paying money, and Empty is taken anyway.

I didn't use it in online games for a while becuase having Stalin in my name meant I kept getting banned for spreading communism.

Anyway, mine originally came from the days when I played DoD:S religiously (but still sucked at it). I was inspired by the Germans team, so I changed my steam username to "BerlinBlitzkrieg". After awhile, I felt that Zero would make me super duper cool and what-not, so I changed it again to "Blitzkrieg Zero".
At that time, I joined Facepunch, so I just used my Steam Username I had at the time.
Otto (My real name), Confuzzed was something I made up in the DarkRP days and used for a long time, because I felt "Confused" wasn't l33t enough.
I'm regretting registering as this name each day.

I tend to make up names that sound stunningly awesome to some and look like complete shit to others. But this one wasn't as much as a failure as my other ones so I stuck with this.
My usual one at the time (Airosune) sounded too weeaboo, and I know this community hated that stuff before I even joined, so I just made something up since I like the Scout, who is affectionately called "Scoot" sometimes.

I did this with one of my other accounts, not on facepunch. Explosivo, it was from Total drama action, I mainly used it on hotmail, then hotmail got boring and shit.
Xonax I used was because it sounded japanese somehow, atleast I thought it did, and I was liking Anime at the time. So I made Xonax, but then I made ExplosiveSilo, honestly...I have no Idea why I made it, but since we are talking about facepunch, then that is the story of Xonax.

Playing castlevania symphony of the night, walking through that room filled with imps. My brother called me imp and it sort of stuck, a few of my friends picked up on it and it became my nick name. It was too short so I made it imptastick, which contrary to popular belief is not impta-stick, rather it is imp-tastick.
Sadly that nick name has sort of faded. Now everyone just addresses me by my first and last name, no idea why.
