My disc drive can read the cd to play it but cannot read the cd to uninstall it and I'm trying to clear space on my harddrive.
There are no scratches on the cd and I've tried cleaning it. The game plays perfectly fine but just will not uninstall, I've tried doing it from the remove programs menu as well and same problem occurs.
Just delete the oblivion folder, there is some registry values that would be left behind but they are pretty harmless. If you really want to delete those too just go into regedit and delete this value:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion]
