Hey guys, i just joined.
i know more about computers than the average person does, yet i am pretty sure people on here know MUCH MORE than i do. So i have come here for a question about computer builds.
i am getting ready to build my first gaming computer and i am wondering if this is a good build so far ( i have not bought any of these parts yet ) and my budget is about 1000 USD
PLEASE tell me if some of these parts are NOT compatible, the one thing that i am worried about is the PSU and if it can power everything including the GPU ( says the GPU needs 450W is that right?? )
sorry the parts are in links :p

thanks ~~ Kevin
sorry, earlier i posted this in the wrong section
Looks good otherwise, but i wouldn't spend that much on case and that PSU as you seem to be saving on some other components like GPU and CPU.
Also any reliable brand(for example Corsair, Enermax, Antec Earthwatts) +500W PSU is able to power that card + CPU without problems.
Those Watt requirements what GPU manufacturers put on their boxes is whole system power consumption with that card + guessing some average gaming PC components.
I don't feel like calculating how much the cost of the parts you picked out were, but I came up with this in $1000:

just wondering why is that? ( i still have a lot of things i want to learn

The GTX 470 gets hotter, you can overcock it yourself, the GTX 570's performance is like a GTX 480, it takes less power, makes less noise, runs cooler, etc. Overall, it's simply a newer generation.
