I assume by this line he means that he intends to build this.
Get haswell (socket LGA 1150), specifically an i5-4670k and a compatible motherboard.
Get a GTX 770 over the 680. The 770 is cheaper and outperforms the 680 in literally every way except power consumption (because it is a better card).
I've never heard of that cooler. Go for the hyper 212 evo or the Hyper TX3 for a bit cheaper.
That solid state drive looks awful. If you really want one, go for a samsung 840 Pro 128 GB minimum.
If you want to SLI, you will want at least a 750 W (and you could go for the 750 W model in the same series), but if you only ever want one card 650 W might do fine (not totally sure though, it would be nice if someone could back me up).

More power consumption doesn't mean more performance, the Pentium 4 showed this aspect well.

I wasn't saying that. I was saying the only benefit of the 680 card over the 770 card [if you look at gpuboss anyway] is that it has a lower power consumption.

So I tried out that website and I compared prices that it recommends where to buy it, and some of the stuff I chose is a higher price than what it says. So I'd double-check those prices to see if they are actually legit.

The website is pretty good, but it takes a while to update prices sometimes. Newegg has been doing a lot of fiddling with its motherboards lately, so a lot of prices are bound to be off. Don't let the errors deter you from use of the site. Its pretty much the first place to go (except for motherboards considering it doesn't list a lot of important information like # of PCI-E 3.0 slots, but this may be updated in the future).
