Extremely sorry if this is in the wrong section, but there was this one song that I had listened to on Youtube and someone had uploaded a particular remix that I enjoyed quite a lot. Problem was it was taken down before I could've converted it [the FLV-toMP3 format thang']. I was curious is there anyway to view taken down youtube videos? Any possible way by extracting the code and being able to view it at least on a third party format?
I really really really liked the remix [it was custom made, and his account was subsequently taken down with the video] and if I can just view the video again and have the code I can alter it into MP3 format. Any ideas?
The only way you can view it now is if you find another source.
Unless its reuploaded OP, your screwed.
what if I have the code for the video? would that be any use?
Once a video is :downs: it is :downs: for good!
Unless you re-uploaded it as previously stated.
Get a time machine.
you can try googling the URL then getting the song name an googling <song name>
are you sure there's absolutely no other way? i need that remix.
It's gone man.
It's just fucking gone.
No longer in existance.
Disappear-o-mundo.

No. It is gone and there is no way to get it back.
Isn't there a site for stuff like this?

There was a site that archived downed videos but I think it went under.
Send a message to the uploader if it was just the video that was taken down, and not the whole account.

They'll probably be more than happy to upload it somewhere you can download it.
I remember there was an awesome site that indexed all the videos that were took down and it played a random one. I'm pretty sure that it doesn't exist anymore.
taken downed

It was taken downed.
I remember there was a method for recovering videos. Had something to do with the cache from youtube's servers and finding exactly the right numbers to put into a link.
Too bad I didn't copy it down...
send a message to the author of the video and ask what it was.
If you can still view them then what would be the point of deleting a video in the first place?
You could try using a google cached version of youtube
Or just message the creator
