• H80 Water Cooling Problem/Question

I'll give some back story i put together my PC like 4 months ago and decided to go with the H80, All was fine until like 3 weeks ago i realised that the Rad Fans wern't spinning yet the temps were quite cool none the less so today i decided to see what was up with them. They seemed too be plugged into the water block correctly but i did some fiddling around and managed to get one fan to begin spinning but i started to realise that no matter how hard i tried to place the other fan into the other connector it just wouldn't turn on so i decided to flip the fans and the same thing again only the fan plugged into the left side would turn on. So i figured that the right side connectors on the Water Block must be fucked, So i wasn't sure what to do so i then decided to plug one of the fans into the Motherboard so it would get power. Now after my long winded explanation i'm curious is having one fan on the RAD plugged into the Block and the other into the Motherboard a problem? As off right now the only problem seems to be the amount of noise coming from the case due to most likely the fan plugged into the motherboard not having the ability to be controlled, Also if anyone has any ways to make it so the fan will work in the water block that would be greatly appreciated aswell.
Make sure you have the fan plugged into a 4pin cpu_fan port. If the h80 pump is, see if you have a another cpu_fan port, or a pwr_fan 4pin plug and plug the pump in either one of those. Cause all the pumps needs is steady power, and the fan needs to be controlled by temperature.

The only issue i see with that is the block not controlling fan speeds. Cause the block is controlling fan a, and the mobo is controlling fan b, they are probably spinning at two different speeds.

Email corsair, they might be able to assist you, or replace the product.
Yeah i plan to do that, Thanks for all the help
