I'm trying to find an old painting that was referenced in some movie or show- the painting was of someone being robbed, or stabbed, or killed or something along that line. The purpose of the painting is if you had to put yourself in that situation, which one would you rather be? A character asks another character this question.

ugh it would be easier if I knew where I saw it from, it was either a James Bond movie or some forgettable generic tv show I saw for 30 seconds

Well knowing every Bond movie in and out, I'll tell you it wasn't that.
if it was a generic crime show, it might be from CSI, NCIS, or any of those spinoffs.
Do you know how those characters looked?
