Fear 3 was still a good game.
FEAR 3 was OK. It tried to be Call of Duty. It's fun for a playthrough but that's about it. FEAR 2 was great, however. I liked that more than the 1st one.
Fear was a good mp game and sp game. I really enjoyed it.
Now this coop sound interesting, I will give it a try. I tried the beta and alpha but both was not working.

Really? I prefer 1 and its expansion packs personally. Something about the movement in 2 felt clunky, plus the removed leaning.

2 looked like a movie for some reason, maybe it was the image quality or something, but I liked it a lot. The multiplayer was fun aswell, shame it never caught on.
Didn't even finish FEAR3. Extremely boring imo.
FEAR Online will start terrifying people with how bad it is.
Fear 1 is one of my favorite games. I still go back to it, the graphics were amazing for their time and the ai is still one of the best i've ever played against. The expansion packs were just as good, or possibly better than the original.
Fear 2 was a step back in my opinion, the ai somehow seemed worse, like COD ai, the graphics weren't much of an improvement, and it was much less scary than the first one, basically none of the things I liked best about the first.
The third one was ok, I enjoyed it, not scary, decent ai, just... ok.
I'd try out FEAR online, it could be good, I wont get my hopes up this time.

Just play FEAR Combat instead. It's essentially just multiplayer FEAR 1 and there's usually 1 - 2 fully populated servers.

I can agree with it not aging too well in terms of the level design but the gunplay is still yet to be beat if you ask me
Take it how you will, but around 28% of the reviews on Steam for this are positive. By comparison, Counterstrike: Zombies has about 48% positive.
Reviews don't matter much to me though, because it already didn't look so great and I try to avoid any games published/hosted/whatever by Aeria Games. I've said this a few times, but the people who think Nexon is bad with monetizing games have never played something Aeria Games have gotten their greedy mitts on.
Tried FEAR Online before it even got on Steam
left when I saw you needed to spend 20 dollars to rent a character for a month
I really liked FEAR 3 for completely different reasons than the earlier games. The ghost-guy had some really fun mechanics to offer, and the co-op was some of the best I've seen in a game. Outside of those two things it was pretty shit.

In the Easter, I must play Doom3
During Christmas, I have to play FEAR (or borderlands 1, but I prefer FEAR, bl1 was kind of binge gaming right after getting the game)
I dunno why, I just did it once with Doom3 when I had a fever during easter and then during christmas time with FEAR (sans the fever that time) and I loved going through them.
Is this not PAY to WIN.? or is that just for MP.?

FEAR is still the only FPS I've ever played that I failed to finish on the highest difficulty setting because that FUCKING AI is so ridiculously good. I [B]will[/B] rectify that sooner or later.
My only experience with Fear is playing an hour or so of split screen co-op as the Ghostbrother on Fear 3 with my best friend. It was pretty fun. I liked Ghostbrothering around.
No incredibly sharp shadows 0/10 not the fear I know
