• Question about 64 Bit

Alright, so at the moment, I have a Windows 7 32 bit operating system with only 2 gigs of RAM. However, I'm looking at buying some new RAM... (http://www.mwave.com/mwave/SKUSearch.asp?scriteria=BA25284&pageTitle=CRUCIAL%20BL2KIT12864AA80A%20Ballistix%202GB%20kit%20(1GB%20x%202)%20du#aStockNote) ...I know that if I stay with 32 bit, I would only be able to use about 3.75 gigs of it. At this point, I want to get the most out of it, so I think I'm going to switch to 64. However, Do I need to reinstall Windows and wipe out my C drive completely to get 64 bit? Also, If I were to go ahead and uninstall 32 and install 64, Would I still be able to use the 4 gigs of RAM I might get later on? Sorry if some of these questions are stupid, I don't know much about this kind of stuff and I am afraid of wasting money. Thanks.
I am pretty sure you need to reinstall. Also your processor must be 64-bit compatible. Of course you will be able to use all the RAM you have, as long as it all works on your motherboard.

I have an AMD Athlon II X4 630 Quad Core, I'm pretty sure it's able to support Windows 7 64 bit. And yes, The motherboard will support the extra RAM.
Yes, i googled, and it looks like it does. So pretty much 64-bit allows your system to use more RAM, and the only things you really need to worry about when building that type of system, is if the processor is 64-bit compatible. So yeah.... If I am wrong, someone please correct me.
