I would just like to inform you guys of chart communications. They are a smaller cable provider company but they have top notch service. Personally I live in michigan so I know they are in michigan but I do not know they extent of their services. The reason why I wanted to tell you guys about charter is that they just upped their speeds on their internet again but kept their prices the same. About 6 months ago their mid range package was 5 meg. After we got charter is was bumped up to 8meg. So couple days ago they bumped up their speeds again and now their mid range package is 18meg and all of this has come as no charge to us. So if you are able to get charter as you provider I would highly recommend it. http://www.charter.com/internet/overview There ^ is an overview of what they offer.
I have them for internet. Much faster than other ISP's in my area, and the bundle with phone, tv, and internet is actually a fair price.
They are pretty good, but it depends on your location. I live in the Tri-City's and it's really nice.
Did you guys get the speed boost as well? Because right now I download at about 2.3 megabytes per second. It is insane.

Well as in the op I we were on the 5 meg at first. The 5 meg turned into the 8 meg. Which now it turned into the 18 meg. Which on charters website is the "Plus".
I've got charter. I haven't noticed a change in speeds yet but I'll look into my package and see if I got a boost.
I'm still getting speeds of around 8 meg.
Is this an advertisement?

I live in Midland, and I had to call them 6 times last year to get my internet back up. Each time a different serviceman would come, and each time he would say the previous serviceman wired the coaxial wrong. I got Charter when they first came to my area, and they were terrible. I am surprised I stuck with them this long; most likely had something to do with everytime I or someone would call to cancel, they would give another month free. It's been good for the past couple of months though, maybe they are starting to shape up. My current speeds:
[img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/7de0d1677275e55a6136d39a000416df.png[/img_thumb]
After only noticing him today, everything he has posted is crap.
I also live in the Tri Cities and Charter is great.

I live in Grand Rapids and yeah, Charter is pretty awesome.
I have them north of the Twin Cities...I would prefer another ISP but there aren't any others that reach my area. You get what you get right? Although, It's nice to have 18mbps now [editline]6th February 2011[/editline]

I had Charter for about 1 year, till early this morning the cut off my internet access for no reason. And I just paid the bill. The service is very nice though, and they sure do beat AT&T aDSL (not uVerse) and Comcast.
Hey, my dad works for charter.
Hey, my dad works for charter.
Tell him to make the internet faster. Thanks.
