Shogun 2 is a bit meh imo, but FotS is better (and it's standalone).

Does Fall of the Samurai launch from the Shogun 2 client? I bought FotS and I had Shogun 2 in my library.
If you have both then it will launch from Total War : Shogun 2 and then you just select the campaign from the menu in-game

I bought FoTS and I only got Shogun 2 in my Library as well.
If you just bought FoTS, when you launch Shogun 2, it will only let you play the FoTS campaign and not the others.
I see my friends playing these games all the time. So I bought Empire Total War and one of them says I should have played one of the melee combat ones first.
It's only $7 so I guess I'll give it a go.
