I'm filling out a job application and it's asking my why I want to work for the company.
I want to type "Because I need a job, DUH DUMB ASS! Why else would I be filling out this application?!," but that wouldn't be very professional at all.
So what do you think I should type that sounds professional?
Tell them what the company offers, and how you can be an asset to the company.
Assuming you're applying for a retail / fast food place or something of that nature, where you'll be handling customers and talking to people:
"I believe that working at ___ will supply me with the skills I need to be more successful in the fields of ___ and ___. I plan on working for ___ because it would be a great benefit to my working experience. I would like to better my customer rapport skills, as well as learn to better communicate with and satisfy customers in a friendly and efficient manner. I would also like to learn how to use ____ (list equipment / cash register / etc. here) so I am more knowledgeable and better prepared for future jobs and work experiences.
Something like that.
Say you want to expand your borders and be a part of your community
