Problem Rooting HTC Rezound

Hi, I've looked all over the internet but I can't find a fix for this, only people with the same problem (See, XKCD comic).

I already Unlocked the bootloader though HTC and now I am trying to root my phone.

Whenever I try to root it using tools (I've tried a ton) it fails and usually says something like "Unable to chmod ... File system doesn't" or "is read only"

Any idea why this is happening or how to fix it? I'd really appreciate any help :)

[B]Edit:[/B] I did a factory rest and it still gives the same error

Oh I'm on 2.3.4, forgot to mention that
