• Laptop Green Screen Problem?

One of my laptops packed in the other day, and failed to load at all. Pressed the power button, just a dark screen, so i left it on the floor on this dark screen. Then it decided to show me a Windows Repair screen after about half an hour of doing nothing. Done all this, fine, yep finished. Rebooted, and everything that was supposed to be black, was green. I thought... oh just a little glitch. Then it got onto Windows logon screen, and was green. Logged in, desktop green. So i thought, perhaps graphic drivers broken, or direct x, so updated both. Still green. Windows update, service pack 2, still green. I have no idea what is going on with this machine. And now I'm back to square one, it's just black. Any suggestions what is causing this? Please and thank you
It's a packard bell limited edition one, With circle touchpad Looks just like that.
Sounds like a dodgey connection to the monitor and your losing some or all of your colours.
Is the BIOS looking normal? Yes > Try repair then reformat No > Do as above says | Your graphics card could be damaged. Send it for reparation.
How would i go about fixing that? And i can't send back to repair, would cost arm and a leg. Out of warranty. How do i check the bios? The computer isn't booting up at all for me to be able to check it. It just comes straight to black screen.
You tried plugging it into an external monitor?
Edit, That didn't work. Still no boot up at all...
