• Usb install windows 7

So I decided to upgrade to windows 7. My 4g Sandisk Cruzer Micro seemed like a feasible option, since it is the only usb I own which can hold win7. I subsiquently followed this tutorial to get me on my way to a fresh pc. http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-install-windows-7vista-from-usb-drive-detailed-100-working-guide/ when I typed "list disk" into command prompt, my usb of utmost importance was missing from the menu. I reformatted it to fat32, the default file system on it, effectively wiping out the insidious "u3." It still does not want to be seen in my "list disk." Anyone know what I could do to enable it to appear and therefore advance my windows 7 agenda? Maybe forget the usb and burn it on a dvd instead?
