Actually I couldn't care less for Sonic in Smash Bros(gameplay wise)... but my hopes for Snake returning are rising again!

Only his final smash was broken in Vanilla Brawl, he could chip away, but didn't have any 'knockout' moves.
He is OP in Project M though if I recall.

well really what moves does sonic have anyway
homing attack, roll into a ball and a bunch of game specific moves I guess
Sonic didn't have the best moveset in Brawl, but he was my main anyway. Helps that I didn't really do competitive kinds of things, but I never believed in tiers anyway. I'm more giddy that the big three of retro platforming (Mario, Mega Man and Sonic) are all here. :v:

Plenty of melee moves to choose from, a high jump could be an assault pack.
I can actually see that almost being practical.

Final smash should be Exterminatus. and then a 4 minute cutscene of the colourful level being nuked to oblivion and back

I think he was only broken in 2.0 and 2.5, pretty sure he's balanced now.
