Growing up, cereal boxes had actual good prizes, from videogames to music CDs, to even a few DVDs. But what was your favorite prize? Mine would be my copy of Myst. I played that game so much when I was little, refused to play any other game until I beat it.
Age of Empires And Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2
mother fucking roller coaster tycoon 2
besides rc2 and aoe, lightsaber spoons and beyblade tops chip packets were where it was at, you rarely got new cereal but you more frequently bought chips so tazos were really cool
Wow I wish I got video games from a cereal box, the coolest thing I ever got was a Star Wars pen. I have it with me right now.
Lucky Charms.
Santa Clause Sugar Bear. You squeeze it and it plays bits of various holiday tunes. Its been in the family since I got it from a box of Super Golden Crisp 30 years ago and goes on the tree every year. Sadly, the batteries finally started dying about 3 years ago and its the kind that the batteries are not supposed to be changeable.......
One of the Carmen Sandiego games. I also remember that the CD from a major cereal manufacturer contained a bible.
A full stomach
The deliciousness that was Oreo O's. That was like the only thing I would eat in the morning when was younger.

I don't recall getting any video games out of cereal. However, I do remember getting a Treasure Planet spoon based off the crazy robot, so that was cool.
Speaking of Treasure Planet...this was, by far, was the best thing I retrieved from a cereal box:

A badass lightsaber spoon
They had a series of like simple garage band type software with one cd for each genre with samples and easy to use mixers was so fucking fun as a kid.
I remember getting those little puzzle lightsabers in cereal boxes back when I was much younger, used to just use them as lightsabers instead of puzzles even though they were like fist sized.

My sister's friend ate all of the captain crunch the last time she was here, so for my birthday, my family got a box of captain crunch with a prize inside for my birthday. The prize was a Tally Hall CD (Good & Evil). They put it in the box before wrapping it. It was great.
We only ever got cereal with cereal in it.
Chex's Quest and Lego Creator took up a large chuck of my childhood, especially the latter. Why don't they do that anymore? Like, don't even bother making new shit just package in old PC games.
