Pyre, a party-based RPG by the creators of Bastion, releases in July

From what I saw, it's pretty good. But this ain't your dad's RPG. Technically, it is a sports game of all things, where you have to carry the ball to the opponent's bonfire.

Of all the things I though Pyre would be, I was not expecting it to be surreal ritualistic sportsball. Now that that's known, anything could happen. The final boss could be our intrepid adventurers coming up against Norwich City F.C in a violent kaleidoscope of yellow and green.
