My windows 7 generates new thumbnails every time I enter a folder with images. It's really annoying to wait until it's finished if you're in a folder with many images. In XP it would create a thumbs.db file but in 7 it doesn't seem to.
Is that feature no more or could it be turned off? If so, how do I enable it?
Thanks

Try running this registry file http://www.sevenforums.com/attachments/tutorials/133926d1295824893-thumbnail-cache-enable-disable-enable_thumbnail_cache.reg
Also have you enabled hidden files to check if the thumbs.db file is there? Because the file is hidden
Yes I have hidden files enabled, I don't see thumbs file. I even tried doing C:/folderblalba/thumbs.db and it still had nothing.
I ran the registry thingy, do I need to reboot? If so, I can't for now and will test the results later.
