Why does this game even try? It's a cool idea in theory, it's just completely fucked.

Well, except for Starstorm, but give Ronimo a break -- they're only an indie studio and they've already given us several free characters in the past updates.

iirc all characters are free - paid 'DLCs' are only skins for those characters and Starstorm.
