They are definitely doing a good job with Dota 2, its not my cup of tea but I really like how well they have integrated the customization/trading in a similar style to TF2.

I remember when I played it early beta and there were only 50-100 people on at a time, I was concerned that it was gonna be a dismal failure because of LoL dominating the market, but its nice to see that they are really pulling a large playerbase now.

If you needed some you could just hop into Dota 2 General Chat, since everyone there has about 50 copies.

LoL was never really dominating the scene, DotA has always been there. Valve and DotA is just too good of a combo.

From what I can remember of the CS:GO beta, you don't get to keep the game when it actually releases.
