Because they're both games in the same genre and Dota 2 has had more features than LoL since Day 1, which is pretty sad all things considered.

No it is not.

Modern Warfare is not based on Battlefield.

Leauge of Legends is based on DotA, they are the same genre, the map is almost the same, many heroes are similar. It is not that black and white.

I thought the spectator feature was already done. Like a maximum of 2 people only being able to spectate custom matches. Did they add this to compete with Dota 2?
