How can I get to a store 40 miles away in Boston? I am totally out of ideas. - General

Here are the restrictions: - Don't know anybody with a car - Don't have money to buy my way there - Not a marathon runner - Possibly could bike there, but there's a high chance I may end up in the hospital or pop a tire and be stranded. I am not very creative, so there's probably other methods. The only way I can imagine getting the object I desire is finding somebody who lives near it who will go pick it up and ship to me, and I'll probably just get scammed. This is a serious topic, please don't post stuff like "whore yourself out" or "make a portal gun" or "sneak onto a train".

Get a bike, cycle there. you could do 40 miles in about 4-5 hours.

Hitchhike but only stick your hand out for pickup trucks. Tell them where you're going and hop into the pickup bed. That's what I do. You can also check around for free shuttles. They're usually found around large attention getting areas and hotels.

And if I did take a train I'd end up spending 40 bucks, and then I might as well buy it online, and I don't have 40 bucks extra anyway. Nobody even uses trains in the US unless they live in Boston or New York. Besides the US train system is garbage anyway.
