• Internet speed has been limited from 100 MB/s to 10 MB/s

Recently I've lost quite a lot of my speed due to the fact, that my computer has automatically limited my internet speed to 10 MB/s. I know this can be changed since my dad managed to fix it a few weeks back, however it got reduced to 10 MB/s again. Are there any settings, and where are they? We are paying for 100 MB/s and we haven't been late on any bills.

The connection speed is displayed as 10 MB/s. Just like that.
Ask your father to fix it again?
First of all, I'm pretty sure you mean 10(0) Mbit/s, not 10(0) MB/s. Secondly, this
The connection speed is displayed as 10 MB/s
makes me think you are looking at your local network speed. Please post your speedtest results. www.speedtest.net

Are you getting your numbers from the networking tab in the task manager? If so, that's not your internet speed. (Because that speedtest result is neither 10 nor 100 mbps) Frankly, I think you're misinformed because 10 and 100 mbps are both incredibly slow while 100MBps is incredibly fast and you most likely won't be getting it from any consumer ISP.

You're paying for UP TO 100mbit/sec.
How is 10 Mbps slow?
Something tells me he meant compared to 100 MBps.

If it's your local network that's dropped to 10Mbit/s, check if the cable is lose or something has damaged the cable. You may have to reconnect the cable while the computer is running. This is because it's not getting a full connection, only a half-duplex one.
Try TCP Optimizer.
Ring your internet supplier up and ask if they capped you?
