Hiiiiiiiiiiiii :)
So, the shitty situation is that my motherboard died on my old computer and it pretty much needed an overall upgrade anyway apart from a few things. So. I bought a barebundle from Novatech, this is what I bought:

So I put in my new graphics card, heatsink and my two sata hard drives from my old computer, plug it in and then it comes up with a missing operating system. I need to get another Hard Drive to install an OS because I'm not up for formatting my current hard drives, they have all my steam games, photoshop work, programs and music.
Also the belleneds at Novatech took out the IDE ports for the motherboard. So I need to get a new DVD drive because there aren't any IDE Ports to plug it into, even though the power supply gives out cables for the Cd and Dvd drive.
Oh and another stupid thing Novatech did was not give me a Vista Cd or key :( Would it be worth buying another Vista license or would it actually be stupid to pirate it?
aren't vista keys as much as the oem disk? Also I have not heard good things about pirating os's.
My god just switch to Win 7. Vista is pretty much a bloated OS. I had Vista last year when the SP2 came out, just to find my gaming experience was crap compared to XP. I switched to Win 7 after hearing good reviews and that and i have to say it's much better than Vista.

It doesn't appear that they have an OS listed for it. What were you expecting? Free copy of Windows?

Most new motherboard makers don't have IDE. I doubt Novatech got the batch of motherboards and decided to whip out soldering irons to remove them just because. If the pads are still there, it means that they're saving money by making different versions of the motherboard with different features, but ordering a bunch of the same circuit board that can work across those different product lines.
