The cheap reflective effect on the gold just looks so terrible. Reminds me of spray-painted plastic.

Looks better than Clanker's Cavern at least. That was one of the most grey looking levels I've ever known.

That's a good idea for them. People are eyeing for the Switch next year. The Wii U is pretty much dead and the Switch semi-portability is a great way to play Yooka Laylee.
Lets hope this game dont end up being a big disappointment like No Man's Sky on release,
If the kickstarter test-demo is anything to go off of, the game will be serviceable. I wasn't blown away by it, but its certainly a fun little thing.
Looks like there is some lighting missing in the Casino level. It looks so dark all the time.
