Avast keep blocking dcom exploit attack since yesterday, I searched quickly on google and found a app that could patch the vulnerabilities on the 2 xp's computer at home. However I get the dcom exploit attack (blocked by avast) on my windows 7 pro computer which is kind of strange because windows 7 is "immunized" agaisn't those. I got the IP of the fucker who keep "trying to breach" my system or whatever : 74.13.44.28.136/tcp my port 136 is closed (as it's used for the dcom exploit). I don't know what to do now, I ran windows update on every computer, updated avast, ran antivirus scan, malware scan, spybot. and I still get the dcom exploit attack (even though they are blocked by avast, which is good) how to immunize my home agaisn't it, or how can I report him (attacker) to the local autorithies (I live in quebec/canada) thanks

I don't think you are actually in any risks. Avast is picking up the attack because the malformed packets resembles a form of known DCOM attack. Regardless of avast blocking it or not, I believe that Windows 7 would still be unaffected, because it is already patched against these known DCOM vulnerabilities. These malformed packets wouldn't do any damage to your system, even if they do get in. Also, do what M2K3 said. Send a email to Bell. And if it makes you feel any safer, buy a personal firewall (The hardware ones that physically resembles a network switch) You can get a good one for as low as $40.
sent, and I sent one to videotron (my ips) too so they can see what they can do!
Some faggot in Barrie Ontario you could notify the police there if you want it is a criminal offence I believe.
