I have a budget of £400-500. (I'm in the United Kingdom.)
I already have:
Obsidian Series 650D
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB
Coolermaster 850W Silent Pro
Windows 7 Ultimate x64
I plan on getting a new motherboard, CPU, GPU and RAM.
I've just pooled my money so that I can get some awesome components. I would like an i5-2500k, but I'm open to suggestions, I was also thinking of a 560TI, alltogether that comes to about ~£400.
Here are my current specs :

I'd be using the computer mostly for gaming.
Thanks
I'd go with the XFX HD 6870. It just about matches the 560ti's performance and it is a little cheaper.

I just recently bought one of these and I can max out most recent games and run BF3 on ultra, running at about 40-60 FPS constantly. You'd also need a new motherboard if you wish to go with the intel chips. I think.

Oh yeah, I was planning on getting a new mobo, cpu, ram and gpu, I'll add that to the OP!
The 6870 looks good, I'll consider that, thanks!
So should I get an I5? or is it worth waiting for ivy bridge?
