imo Spec Ops is largely a victim of its own success; its message is one that should be repeated, but could have and has been portrayed far better - and since all Spec Ops really [I]has[/I] is its message there isn't a whole lot left once you get down to it, other than some lovely set-pieces and voice acting and a cool soundtrack.

Hardly, It's based on a novella, Heart of Darkess which is not the same at all. It's a modern adaption as Apocalypse now was a an adaption into the Vietnam War.
Heart of Darkness is about African savagery off of the Congo during imperalism in the 19th century
